Dr. David Brostowitz
Dr. David Brostowitz graduated from Marquette University’s School of Dentistry in 1982 and completed advanced training at Case Western Reserve. He founded Brostowitz Family Dentistry in 1983 and remains committed to professional excellence through continuous education.
Passionate about dentistry, he enjoys getting to know his patients and providing gentle, respectful care. His love for the field inspired his children, Anna and Joseph, to become dentists—Anna specializes in pediatric dentistry in Seattle, while Joseph has joined him in Peshtigo.
Dr. Brostowitz and his wife, Teresa, have lived in Peshtigo since 1983, raising four children. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, making homemade sausage and craft beer, and spending time with family and friends fishing and hunting. He is an active member of the community and has served as President of the M-O Dental Society. He also participates in the Wisconsin Dental Association, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Peshtigo Lions Club, Peshtigo Chamber of Commerce, St. Mary Parish, and the Catholic Central High School Athletic Club.
Dr. Joseph Brostowitz
Dr. Joseph Brostowitz graduated from Marquette School of Dentistry in 2023 at the top of his class. Dr. Joey and his wife, also a graduate student at the time, focused their school laden years in Milwaukee, raising their three children and enjoying the diverse Milwaukee cuisine and culture. While in school, Dr. Joey was able to learn and excel at a broad range of clinical skills knowing he would be returning to rural WI, where he would practice general dentistry. Dr. Joey was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society reserved for top students who demonstrate academic success and exemplary traits of character, with the highest potential for professional growth and attainments.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2014 with a degree in business, Dr. Joey joined the beer industry as a commercial brewer at Hinterland Brewery. He spent 5 years brewing before deciding to return to school to pursue dentistry. His deep love for Northern Wisconsin, family values, and the use of his hands led him to follow in his father’s footsteps as a dentist.
Dr. Joey was raised in a family that valued their small northern WI community above most else. As Joey navigated his professional and personal life early on, it was apparent that he also prioritized those same values. Joey married Taylor Romenesko, a Peshtigo native and daughter to the retired local dentist, Bradly Romenesko. Though Joey and his wife moved away to pursue professional
careers, they knew they would return to work and raise their family within their hometown community. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Joey enjoys hunting and fishing, playing music, cooking, brewing beer and making maple syrup. His biggest joy in life includes spending time with his three kids, Jack (6), Charlie (4), and Violet (2).
Dr. Joey views his professional life as a blessing. Returning to his hometown to work alongside his father in a community-centered practice, while raising his family within that same community, is “as good as it gets”.
Dr. Joey’s professional values include empathy, honesty, caring for the patient as a whole, and having fun while maintaining professionalism. He takes care to uphold these values during every patient encounter he experiences.
